iMac IOS Sequoia 15.3.2 Need a recommendation for external CD player

iMac IOS Sequoia 15.3.2

Need a recommendation for external CD player that will hold up to uploading 20,000+ songs from CD to iTunes. My entire music library was lost when my last iMac bit the dust and nothing was able to be transferred. 

Apple support of course recommends the Apple Super Drive but not being familiar with any external player I need good recommendations.
