My online banking won't let me log in using Safari, saying I need to use Chrome.

When you download Chrome you can drag its icon from the Applicstions folder to the Dock and an icon for Chrome will be created there. Then, to use Chrome, simply click on that icon to open the app when needed.

Just leave Safari as the default and launch Chrome when banking.
