I have tried to follow advice from other communities but have been unable to gain access to my downloads folder on my MacMini.
I get "The folder “Downloads” can’t be opened because you don’t have permission to see its contents."

Do you have iCloud enabled for the Downloads folder? Or some other cloud file syncing service?
Do you have file sharing enabled in the System Settings?
Do you have any anti-virus software, cleaning/optimizer apps, or third party security software installed?
The folder “Downloads” can’t be opened because you don’t have permission to see its contents.
I no longer have authority/access to my downloads file. Please advise. Thank you
