Why is Apple Music asking to subscribe when I have a family sharing subscription?

What do I do if Apple Music is telling me to subscribe even though I have a subscription through family sharing? It shows ”Can’t connect” if I click on the home button though I have a stable internet connection. It shows “Subscribe to Apple Music to save music” if I try to click on Albums. But when I click on the Account Settings check if I have the subscription, it shows that I have subscribed.
