Resolution to MBP 16” 2019 overheating?

anybody ever get any solutions or resolution on the overheating issue? I spent over 3000$ dollars on a machine that i’ve never been able to use for more than 10 minutes before it just gets super hot fans going full speed and nothing works. Totally and utterly useless. I paid for 64g of ram but might as well be 2g. I took it in and gave it to apple when i broke the screen once and when i got it back the fans just were on all the time full blast but still 10 minutes of use before useless. I don’t consider that a fix. Has anybody got anything out of apple on this issue?

Consider downloading and running this little "discovery" utility, Etrecheck. It changes NOTHING. Etrecheck was developed by senior contributor here, and uses system calls to collect often-needed information.

it contains little tests for speeds of devices, CPU utilization, memory usage, energy usage and a digest of recent problems, in one easy to use package. it does not even need to be Installed. Because less can be learned when your Mac is running great, best time to run is when your problems are actually occurring, if possible.

if you follow the directions faithfully, its report (pre-laundered of all personally-identifiable information) can be "Shared" to the System ClipBoard, then Pasted into an ‘Additional Text’ window in a reply on the forums.

Use Etrecheck Pro for free:

http://Etrecheck.com

then PASTE the clipboard into an "additional text" window:

By far the easiest way to cause poor performance, instability, overheating and crashing is to install ANY third-party speeder-uppers, Cleaners, Optimizers, or Virus scanners, Bit Torrent, or a VPN that you installed yourself.

Also, are you using external displays with this computer? that is know to cause the heat to ramp up quickly.

are you running any of that stuff?

I would take it straight back and have Apple resolve the issue.

Im pretty sure the whole product model was garbage out the box. Nothing no extra programs or anything weird this was to be a strictly work computer so I had some adobe stuff photoshop illustrator animator when i first got it would be 5 to 10 minutes then just no response screen on everything burning hot but nothing would work. It would be like that for as long as i let it before closing the thing or just turning it off. I thought it was me. Apple ran me around and gave me useless advice on resetting pram or whatever. Sometime I would try to sidecar the ipad but that lasted even less time. My 64 g of ram i probably could have the same performance from 512mb of ram very disappointing. That was then, now im trying to work with Blender and i found a turboboost on/off switch program and a fan controller that i can start running the fans at full blast before i start working but still about 5 to 10 minutes of actually doing things. I can watch movies and shop on Amazon but so can my friend with the tablet he got out of a dumpster. Im thinking about strategically gluing a bunch of heat sinks and some fans to the bottom of the thing to try and mitigate the heat but that seems so ridiculous to have to frankenstein stuff onto a almost $4000 machine just to be able to maybe use it for longer than 10 minutes. And of course it would be a lot less portable and similar to a desktop. The 150$ credit towards a newer machine that apple offered was my favorite part of my experience. Ill update if my additional heatsinks and fans improve performance
