Our kids use apple HomePods in their bedrooms to listen to music. We have explicit music turned off, but this doesn’t prevent access to comedy shows with explicit content. Is there anyway to fix this?

To block explicit comedy on your HomePods for kids, here’s what you can do:
Enable Content Restrictions: Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions. Under Music, Podcasts & News, turn off Explicit content.
Block Podcasts: In the Apple Podcasts app, make sure explicit content is blocked for kids.
Family Sharing: Set up a child account through Apple Family Sharing to ensure stricter content controls.
Unfortunately, there isn’t a specific setting just for blocking explicit comedy, but these steps should limit most explicit content.

Thank you so much for your help! The problem we’re running into is that the comedy shows aren’t labeled as explicit. The content was definitely of a sexual nature that we’d rather our children not have access to.
