Moving my music library from icloud to Music app

Somehow all of my music on my Imac and Iphone disappeared when I got a new computer. Imac is using Sequoia 15.3.2 and I have an Iphone 15 Pro Max with the latest updates. Currently all of my music library is in a folder on Icloud named Music. How can I get this to my Imac so i can sync it with my Iphone and get all my music back. I don't have, or want a subscription to Apple Music. I just want to be able to play my music in my car or on the go. Been at this now for 2 months and cannot find an answer with step by step instructions.

Presumably you no longer have the previous computer or a backup of the same. Presumably you can copy the files from the iCloud > Music location that you can see into the local ~/Music/Music folder. Without knowing exactly what you're seeing it is difficult to give precise instructions. See Managing your Mac media libraries - Apple Community for some background on the default layout for the library. If your backup include the Music Library.musiclibrary you can hold down option as you launch Music to choose that library. Otherwise you may have to import the songs into an empty library.

See Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device - Apple Community if you cannot reclaim the songs for some reason.
