How can I restart my iPhone when it won't allow finger swipes?

Here's how you can perform a Forced Restart on your iPhone.

• Press and quickly release the Volume Up Button
• Press and quickly release the Volume Down Button
• Press and hold the Side Button until you see the Apple Logo

Be sure to perform it quickly and ignore the Power Off slider that appears midway.

You have to ignore the "slider" and keep holding the Side button in until the Apple logo appears in the center of the screen.

You may need to hold the Side button an additional 20-30 seconds or more.

A Forced Restart will always work......unless......there is a hardware issue with the phone.
