Please Allow Editing of Contacts in Recent Calls

I have been editing contacts from the recent call log successfully. Once you tap on the “i” information section of the contact, from the recents call log, then you will see the “EDIT” option at the very top right of the screen. You can then edit that contact just like you would in the contacts app.

Unless I have misunderstood your question, I am able to edit previously saved contact directly from the recents log by tapping on “i”.

You are welcome. You are right that you still won’t be able to delete the contact when editing it from the Recents Log. You can, however, move to the Contacts tab, while still in the Phone app and then choose Edit and then Delete.

I agree with you that it will be convenient if one can delete the contact while Editing it after choosing from the Recents log. You can suggest this feature directly to Apple by leaving a product feedback here 👉 Product Feedback - Apple
