Restore power on Computer.

Just had a power outage in the neighborhood, as I was working on my desktop . Now I can’t get computer to turn back on. I did use power button on backside of computer. Still won’t come on . Help please.

iMac 24″, macOS 12.6

The power outage may have fried the main logic board or the computer's power supply. Please take the device to your local Apple Authorized Service Provider to be professionally diagnosed. However sometimes if you simply unplug the computers power cable from the wall and computer overnight, sometimes a computer may revive itself. Something to try at least.

If @Old Toad's suggestion does not help, then try the iMac at a different electrical outlet, preferably on a different circuit. It is possible a power/surge strip was damaged, or the wall electrical outlet & circuit has an issue. I would even try a different power cable/AC Cord as well...while it would be extremely rare for the AC Cord to be damaged, might save you a trip carting the iMac to the shop.
