Easy way to select multiple apps into folders after downloading?

Back in the day I could plug my phone into the computer, open iTunes, select apps on my phone and drag them across multiple screens into a folder. Now it seems the only way to move apps into folders is press on the icon on the phone until things blink then drag them to a folder.

is there any way to select multiple apps and do something like a right-click to tell them to go to a folder? Or any way short of dragging individual apps?

To move multiple apps at once on your iPhone, follow these steps:

Enter Jiggle Mode: Tap and hold any app icon until all the icons start to jiggle.
Select Multiple Apps: Drag the first app slightly, then use another finger to tap on additional apps you want to move. They will stack together.
Move the Bundle: Drag the stack of apps to a new location, folder, or page, and release your finger.

This feature has been available since iOS 11, I believe. It's a handy trick for organizing your home screen efficiently!
