You can either wait the 3 hours and try again, or reset your phone. Be aware that reseting your phone will wipe out any data you have on it. If you have backups, you can restore your data from that.

Accessing a Locked iPhone Outside the Time Allotted:

You can't. Wait the three hours --like it or not. If you don't, and you keep fiddling with it, then you may be locked out for good. So, let it sit, and then use a computer to perform this, as it would be more user-friendly doing so. Once reset, keep a hardcopy of it, storing it in a private location that only YOU are aware of and only YOU have access to.
