Refund request for an accidental subscription due to language barrier

Hello,

I accidentally subscribed because I didn’t understand that activating the trial would result in a charge. My phone is in English, and I can’t change it to a language I understand.

When I saw that $100 was charged, I got scared and immediately tried to cancel and request a refund on the same day, but the money was already taken. This amount is too big for me, and I can’t afford to lose it.

I worry that my account looks like it abuses refunds, but that’s not true. I made a mistake due to the language barrier and didn’t know I would be charged.

What should I do to get my money back? Please help me, I didn't know. Pleas

Click ▶︎ Request a Refund.

According to Apple:

If your refund is approved, the funds are applied to the same payment method that you used to buy the item.

Here's how long it takes for a refund to appear on your account or statement:

Store credit—It might take up to 48 hours to see the refund in your Apple ID balance.

Mobile phone billing—It might take up to 60 days for the statement to show the refund. Processing time might be affected by your carrier. You can contact your carrier for an update.

All other payment methods—It might take up to 30 days for the statement to show the refund. If you don't see the refund after 30 days, contact your financial institution.

Click ▶︎ Check Refund Status.

Good luck! 👋🏼😉
