iMac work computer looking for keyboard solutions

So, I have several actual iMac computers that I could use for work. However, the one keyboard I had was the wireless one and it just wasn't working great then the battery leaked, and it was Tost. They are older monitors, but the screen size alone would be huge advantage form my ThinkPad (personal laptop). I can't get a new keyboard at this time there isn't any funds for that available so I was wondering 1) can I hook up my ThinkPad to iMac or can I use another brand PC keyboard I think there might be an old keyboard one somewhere here?
