How do I stop my iPhone 15 Pro Max from repeatedly asking for my eSIM PIN after each restart?

I'll try to be as articulate and consise as possible. When I first bought my iPhone 15 Pro Max in October 2023 I had no issues for over a year at least. Then all of a sudden I noticed that each time I restart the device it keeps asking for my esim pin number EVERYTIME. I don't know what I changed or messed with to start getting this annoying prompt. Otherwise the phone is useless if I don't enter this

4 digit nuisance every time I restart. Has anyone else had this problem or something similar? Thanks for any input.

This is a security feature that will keep others from taking your SIM card from your phone and putting in their phone. Which allows them to be you. All calls and mesg.

The sim pin was added to prevent this from happening.

‘The result of turning on sim lock is that every time a update is applied and phone restarted requires sim pin

Now regarding the e-sim, which is not a physical device that can be removed, didn’t have the ability to lock it.

It appears Apple may have added this attribute for eSIM.
