Anybody know a trick how to get my mouse cursor to NOT change as it hovers over different things?
I'd like it to remain on ARROW only.

Individual applications and the operating system are designed to change the mouse pointer shape depending upon what it passes over. You have no control over this. Microsoft Windows and Linux do this too.

I'm a Music teacher, and the issue is that when I try to point out a specific note, the cursor changes to TEXT (looks like a capital "I") and my students, especially the little guys, can't understand what I'm pointing at.
I did find a "not perfect" (but still better) work-around. I did a "save as" Web Page (.htm) and that makes it so that when the cursor is above the music notes it's the arrow !
