Getting Info Off of a Sold Mac:
Are you saying you purchased a used Mac, that has another person's personal information on it? If so, take this to the seller, and return it. This is the site the seller should have used, prior to selling it to you, including the iCloud logout: What to do Before you Sell, Give Away, Trade in, or Recycle your Mac - Apple Support. The seller should have known better.
if your Mac is lost or stolen, your only recourse is to activate lost mode using Find My Mac. However, this feature requires that you previously connec ed your Mac into Apple ecosytem by activating Find My Mac previously.

Yes my MacBook 14 possibly could have been taken from me and switched by a relative and I wouldn’t have been able to tell that I just got switched out with a MacBook Air 13 when just purchased a MacBook Pro 14 same color in January by possibly some relatives whom I respect but could care less about, have multiple MacBooks they don’t utilize or are students all of us on the same financing account on this retailer whom I pay for monthly. Have for some time..how do report both my MacBook Pro 14 and the MacBook 13 air that are now both not in my home or possession . I didn’t see with eyes the sob walk off with it. So can’t say stolen out of integrity . But it is lost and not mommy possession and how do I go about both of them being gone. Sorry to bother.
