Latency on internal microphones of Apple Silicon Macs

You may be under the impression you are contacting Apple here, but this site isn't used for that purpose. If you want to make Apple aware of what appears to be a repeatable bug, you need to contact Apple. Use the Support link below, and / or use their Feedback portal, here: Product Feedback - Apple.

The more exactingly precise detail you can provide, the more likely it will be they will address it. The step-by-step instructions you posted are an excellent model, to which you must add all other hardware and software-specific details apply to your specific Mac.

Personally I use an external headset, and I'm far from an audio professional. The internal mics are merely ok for phone calls, FaceTime, etc.
