HomePod Alarms Not Working Sporadically

I say: "Hey Siri, please set alarm for 2:50 AM."

It responds: "Okay, I set your alarm for 2:50 AM later today."

I go to sleep. I wake up at 2:49 AM (thanks, stress-induced circadian rhythm). 2:50 arrives. Nothing. Not a peep.

I check past alarms, and it says the 2:50 AM one is off—which should only happen after the alarm goes off.

This isn’t the first time. I’ve permanently disabled Sleep Mode long ago, and no Focus modes were on. If the device confirms an alarm, it should actually go off.

Why does this keep happening? Why can’t a homepod handle basic alarms reliably? Why do we have to

resort to forums just to flag obvious bugs?

I’m frustrated that I can’t trust this expensive ball with something so simple
