Is Bonjour causing my Windows desktop to freeze

I have a WIN 11 Pro desktop that freezes periodically and needs to be power cycled each time this happens.

I can usually tell the time of the freeze from the time display on the lock screen which will have stopped updating.

It may be coincidental but an examination of Event Viewer entries up to the time of freezing shows code integrity errors relating to Bonjour as being the last entries before the freeze -

e.g.

-

"Code Integrity determined that a process

(\Device\HarddiskVolume4\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Platform\4.18.25020.1009-0\MpDefenderCoreService.exe) attempted to load \Device\HarddiskVolume4\Program Files\Bonjour\mdnsNSP.dll

that did not meet the Custom 3 / Antimalware signing level requirements."

-

"Code Integrity determined that a process (\Device\HarddiskVolume4\Windows\System32\svchost.exe)

attempted to load \Device\HarddiskVolume4\Program Files\Bonjour\mdnsNSP.dll that

did not meet the Windows signing level requirements."

-

I use iTunes for music and to backup/sync my iPhone and iPad and I believe iTunes cannot run without Bonjour.

Can anyone confirm if Bonjour is indeed causing my problem and, if so, is there a solution that allows me continue to use iTunes on the desktop?
