How can I recover my Apple account with 28-digit recovery code and no trusted devices?

Hello, please help me restore access to my apple account. I set a 28-digit recovery code, but I didn't write it down, and now I can't log into my account because I don't remember the password, and there are no trusted devices either. There are subscription payment receipts! Help please.

You will need to create a new account. Apple does not save the key either, which is the whole purpose of using this optional step to improve security.

This gives you more control of your account recovery methods and can help prevent an attacker from gaining access to and taking control of your account. However, if you lose your recovery key and can’t access one of your trusted devices, you’ll be locked out of your account permanently.

Perhaps though it may be too late, had you

attempted login through this Apple Account

portal, that might have gotten into there OK.

Sign in to your Apple Account - Apple Support

Options to use this access show by internal links.

Login via Web Browser:

Apple Account website - Manage your Apple

Account by signing in on account.apple.com.

Get a verification code and sign in with two-factor authentication - Apple Support

//support.apple.com/en-us/102606

And should you have set up in advance, 2FA

that helps to simplify secure logins with two

devices; your mac/pc and an iPhone/android.

Easier to reset and get back in to Apple Accounts

and devices. [Depending on how it's set up, there

may be means to use iCloud email address too.]

Can't another device be trusted if you don't have access to your account?

No. A trusted device is one that is already logged into your account. It would not make much sense to be able to add a trusted device after the user had already lost access to the account. Any scammer could do that to gain access to anyones account.
