My hearing aids won’t connect to my ipad?

My Oticon hearing aids are connected to my iPhone. How do I also connect them to my iPad? I’m having trouble.. It says they are connected. My volume is turned up, both on my iPad and in the settings.

iPad Air 3, iPadOS 18
