Replacement battery for MacBook Air 2017
I need to find replacement battery for MacBook Air 2017 and need to know replacement cost and if it is better to take it to the Apple Store to have them replace it

The quality of third party Lithium Batteries is extremely poor even when purchased from a respected vendor such as OWC or iFixIt. While the battery in the 2017 MBAir is one of the easier ones to replace, it can sometimes be a bit tricky to disconnect the battery from the Logic Board if the connection happens to be tight.
If you go with an OWC or iFixIt battery, then it is extremely important to calibrate/exercise the battery on its first use or the battery is much more likely to fail.
For the MBAir 2017, the Apple battery repair price is reasonable when you consider it includes labor and the battery is of much better quality.
