M4 mac mini support Dolby Atmos out in HDMI?
I have a sound bar, earc support, how to connect m4 Mac mini? How to get dolby atmos. I am trying to orei audio HDMI to earc but no use I have only support 2.0 channel out why?
Although the M4 Mac Mini Pro can output Dolby Atmos and Vision over an appropriate HDMI 2.1 cable, as far as I know, there is no HDMI eARC support for any brand sound bar. You will likely need to send sound to the sound bar via Bluetooth.
No Apple employees participate in these user-supported, public communities and we simply cannot speculate about Apple's Mac mini design decisions. If Apple had been in the high-end audio component business, they might have included eARC support.
A possibility is to run HDMI 2.1 into a recent high-end stereo receiver that also has an eARC and HDMI 2.1 outputs for the sound bar and your television.
