Ear buds not showing up in bluetooth list

I have a pair of technics AZ100 they connect seamlessly to anything in my house iphone ipad tv but refuse to even show up on the mac book pro. I am aware after using apple for 20+ years how to look for devices in the blue tooth list, current example my mac book pro in the office samsung tv 20 meters awasy in the living room, the samsung shows up fine but thast is the only device showing even though the earbuds are sitting on the keyboard, with a blue bluetooth light flashing. I have restarted my mac, restarted bluetooth, disconnnected all devices form macbook pro and from the earbuds, nothing They simply do not show up on the available bluetooth devices.

Thanks so when I purchased them day one I tried them everything fine, I did a firmware update as prompted and they they started whoshing in one ear. Took them back got a replacement pair and had resisted updating. So I just now bit the bullet and updated again. Thanks that worked.

I had watched this video previously it seemed to me to be entirely useless as it assumes that the earbuds show up as in everything is normal which it isn’t.

Okay, a reply was posted while responding here.

If the device still fails to communicate with current firmware loaded, contact the device vendor.
