Why is there a White heart next to volume control and music symbol in iPhone post iOS 18 update?

Perhaps you refer to the icons associated with the Control Centre.
The heart, music note and other icons that appear to the right of the Control Centre buttons relate to each page of control buttons. Simply tapping the related icon, or swiping up or down on the open Control Centre, will move through the available pages of controls. The currently displayed Control Centre page is shown with a white icon, while others are shown with a grey icon:
