cant click anything on apple tv+ via chrome on a new windows laptop.

I just signed up to apple tv+ today, and while it worked fine for a while I am now having the titled issue. I can't click anything on the site and therefore cannot login. I also found there is some sort of loop where if sign in through the apple account site and then direct towards the Apple TV+ I am logged out again and cannot click anything. I have windows and use chrome. I haven't had an issue like this before with other streaming services, so really not sure what to do.
