iMessage About time to upgrade that program Apple.

I have been using iMessage for years. When you want to clear the junk messages, you cannot do it easily. Mac's use to be intuitive.

You have to scroll down to each message, click each message thread, slide the mouse and hit the delete on the screen, and then move to the other button "Would you like to delete this conversation," and click that.

Update need.

  1. click on dock iMessage icon and Choose "Show new Messages"
  2. click the first, hold the command key, click the last
  3. hit the delete key on the keyboard
  4. delete

Please FIX IT, because it is broken.

They have. Your desired steps are nearly accurate- just use the Shift key, not Command. So:

  1. Command-click the first message to be deleted
  2. Shift-click the last message to be deleted
  3. Delete key > Delete

This should work at least as far back as macOS Monterey.
