Solution to How to create a Shortcut to open a specific folder in the Files app on Iphone

How to Create a shortcut to open a “Folder” on your

iPhone: (I am using an iphone "SE" with iOS version 18.3.2)


Open Shortcut App


Press Plus on top of screen


Scroll down and press “Files”


Scroll down and under “Other” should be a selection of your

various folders


Press Folder you want to open


Press “Done”


Press “New Shortcut” just created and hold


Press “rename” then rename and press “Done”


Press and hold “New Shortcut” again


Press “Edit”


Press “i” symbol on bottom of screen


Press “Add to Home”


Press “Add” on the top of next screen


Shortcut App should close, press home screen and you should

see the new Shortcut on your Home screen


Press and hold new shortcut till all the apps and shortcuts

on the screen start to “shake”


Press “Edit Home Screen”


Press and move your newly created shortcut to your desired

location


Press the home button to end “Edit Home Screen”


Done
