iPad and McBook Air both showing near full storage capacity

Both my iPad and MacBook Air are showing warnings that storage is nearly full.

I'm confused and worried about losing photos and important documents. If something is in the iCloud can I remove it from a device and still be able to access it?

Icloud storage full issue Hello All, I want to share that I am using iPhone 11 and I am using default 5gb of icloud storage. Since last 5 days I am receiving that it is full. The problem is that it shows 4.79 is data related to documents so I can't find the same so that I can deleted. Now, I logged in on my browser in icloud and saw all folders like Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Photos, icloud drive, Notes, etc etc. My photo library is zero as I did not turned on for that, there were few things in download and i have deleted. But still could not find and understand about the data (yellow colour) of 4.79 GB. Moreover, I have iPhone 5c using the same icloud account also, so shall I removed that device and log out? 'iCloud Drive' taking up storage on iPhone I have 'iCloud Drive' taking up 29/128 GB's of storage on my iPhone XR. I did not try to access any files that are stored on iCloud through my iPhone. Also, I never even had 29gb worth of files on my phone (excluding apps, photo's, video's, etc., which are listed separate from this 'iCloud Drive'). So it cannot be 'files there are stored in iCloud but are accessible on the iPhone and therefore take up local storage', like Apple Support always seems to think. I have contacted Apple Support multiple times about this, and no one seems to understand it. Everyone just links this page: Manage your iCloud storage – Apple Support (UK) which of course doesn't explain anything, if you understand the question. So, does anyone from the community maybe know this problem? And maybe even a solution? Thanks in advance!

Unable to remove 1.5 GB of used iCloud storage Hi, I'm unable to remove 1.5 GB of iCloud storage on my 5 GB of free account. Manage iCloud storage shows that 1.5 GB of storage is being used by iCloud drive, but I'm able to see anything on icloud.com. Also when I'm using "Delete Documents & data..." from my iPhone directly, still nothing happens. It's keep showing on that 1.5 GB of iCloud drive storage being used, but I have no clue how to fix that out. Attaching screenshots from my iPhone. Let me know if someone can help. Thanks in advance!

What does “storage” mean exactly?

What's the difference between device storage and iCloud storage? - Apple Support

If “storage” means iCloud storage, you may increase it.

Buy iCloud+ or upgrade your current storage plan - Apple Support
