Cannot download apps on Macbook Air M2 through App Store

I am trying to download a few apps for my grandfather on his new Macbook Air M2 device. He is signed in with his Apple account, but it does not have touch ID configured per his preference

When I try to download an app on the App Store, I get the following dialog box (attached) but seemingly no button to acknowledge. I can't figure out how to download any apps from the App Store for him

Any guidance is appreciated

OK - so I set up touch ID for my grandpa but it didn't look like it fixed the problem when I remotely logged in via a 3rd party remote access tool, however, my grandpa did say he saw the prompt for his fingerprint to download the app so I assume it was some security feature that didn't let a remote user see the password field or touch ID prompt. Problem solved
