"HPScanner" would like to access files on a removable volume--What is a Removable Volume and Should I be giving Access to HP or anyone else to access my Files and Data ? Is there anyway to make the Scanner Work without granting access ?
MacBook Air 13″, macOS 15.3
Both of my Multi-Function Printers were no longer authorized network access following my MacOS 15.3.2 update. Going to >System Settings >Privacy & Security > Local Network and re-toggling both (which remained listed, but NOT toggled on!) back to ON resolved the failure to connect issue when attempting to scan.
Apparently the OS update toggled them OFF without providing any notification.....

see if there is anything here—
>System Setting> Privacy & Security> Local Network toggle on all related
>System Setting> Printers & Scanners
ex. the HP Device Monitor, HP Scanner 3, and HP Utility toggles
