I updated my Mac to Sequoia 15.3.2 and the Finder display is not displaying selections in Finder Settings. For example, Applications is selected in Settings, but is not displayed in Finder Favorites. Please advise.

I see no Favorites in your screen shot...
Applications would be under Favorites— spin the caret(?)
As leroydouglas suggested try this:
