iOS 18.3 causing freeze and preventing access or changes to family management

Go to Settings —> Family —>. Select any family member. Then try to select screen time. The entire settings app may freeze. Workarounds are to hard shut the app and it may work or it might not. This happens with the upgrade to 18.3. I had an iPhone when I first did the upgrade and had the issue . I am now on an iPhone 16 Pro and having the exact same problem. Apple please fix this as this has been going on for a while and I see many other people are having the exact same issue.

If you and others are having the same issue, yet there is no fix, then the question becomes: "Just how many people have actually reported it to Apple?"

Report this to Apple...

So, do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread
  4. Proceed from there as necessary
