AirDrop not working, stuck at 'waiting'and fails
Hi, I have 2023 MacBook Pro M2 MAX, running latest Sequoia 15.3.2, and iPhone 14 Pro Max running latest 18.3.2 iOS. It's unable to send anything via AirDrop from iPhone to Mac, it's stuck at waiting than fails and do nothing. Both devices see each other ok, I've tried restarting both, reseting network connection, switching on/off airdrop, airplane mode, nothing helps.
I'm figthing this issue couple of months, and I gave up and was tranfering using third part services or cable. But, I need to use AirDrop like I was using it last more than ten years with no issues. Now I'm on modern almost new devices, latest software update and it's NOT working at all. I also have issues sometimes sending photos between two iphones, or from mac to iPhone too. There are photos and videos in the iPhone taken by native camera app, or taken by FilmicPro app. I need to instantly send this videos to my MacBook using AirDrop. What can I do, to make the AirDrop working?
Again I repeat - airdrop see each other devices, starts to send, than stuck at waiting, and than the transfer dissapears and stops, nothing is transfered. It's really, really amazingly annoying, that Apple's almost most expensive devices with paid software and services such as iCloud, are unable to share one photo or video to the other device, it's really shame, and as I was searching the forum, I'm not the only one with this issue.
What are the steps to fix this? Thank you
