How to disable alarm snoozing with volume button on iPhone?

I couldn’t figure out, why I never woke up to my alarms. But when I sat down to fix it, I set a trial alarm. And when I tried to turn it down, the alarm just turned off as no snooze or silence just off. Like, I had deleted it. I hate this because I’ll grab my phone in my sleep to try and turn off the alarm, this just makes it too easy. Is there anyway to fix it?
