Carddav contacts and default account not showing

I have Synology contacts running. And added multiple accounts to my iphone. But I do not see the default account selection under the contacts settings. So I cannot tell to which account my iphone saves my new contacts. I've tried everything from re-adding the accounts, etc. But nothing works.


Does someone have the same problems? And how did you fix it?

What is your default Contacts account? Make iCloud your default Contacts Account. See the pic below




Unlike some Android devices, contacts are neither stored locally on an iPhone nor in SIM. They are synced to an email account that you have Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo or any Other

The problem is that the default contacts is not there. I have disabled my icloud contacts since I do not use them. But I have 4 carddav accounts but I cannot select which one is the default since the selectionbox default contacts isn’t shown. That is the whole problem.
