How do I quickly delete multiple photos and videos on iPhone?

This may help --> Delete photos on your iPhone or iPad

1. Open Photos.
2. Tap Select, then tap multiple photos or slide your finger across multiple photos to select more than one.
3. Tap the Bin button, then confirm to delete the items.

I press > Select < and swipe up/down or side to side and then go back and deselect any images that shouldn’t be deleted. It’s much quicker than doing it one at a time.

Selecting the way that Jeff Donald suggests, just sliding my finger over pictures, going to the top and letting it auto-scroll, I can select 200 pictures in about 10 seconds.

Doesn't seem like a great burden…

You’re welcome. I think the issue is the small screen and lack of a real keyboard. InLightroom Classic I can move much faster delete hundreds, even thousands in a minute. I don’t think Photos is meant to compete in the pro market. It’s a good app for what it is, but does have limitations.
