My iphone 13 pro max is not showing the option "Cellular Data Options" to be able to turn on cellular data roaming when I am outisd the US.

Under settings, I click on Cellular to get the Cellular screen. On that screen I am supposed to see "Cellular Data Options" that should take me to another screen to turn on/off roaming option. For some reason, my phone does not show that option. I called Xfinity (my carrier) and they could not figure that out. I am able to make international calls, but not text messages!!! My IOS is up to date. Any help please?

Hello hhaddad,

How long or when did you notice this issue of not having "Cellular Data Options" ? You say you can't text messages either. Have you check in Settings > Messages > iMessages is ON.

Also to see the Roaming Options your Cellular Data needs to be ON. If it is set to OFF the "Cellular Data Options" give you Voice & Data and Data Mode Options, but NO Roaming options.

I have iPhone13PM too and don't have this problem, but I don't use Xfinity as my carrier either.

Hi GeeZ06,

I just noticed the issue as I tried to send a text to international number. The iMessages is ON. For some reason, on my my there is no "Cellular Data Options" displayed. I figured out how to turn ON Roaming option by clicking on the phone number listed under "SIMs" section on the Cellular screen. I think not getting/sending texts has to do with my carrier and plan setup. Working on it. Thank you.
