Macbook pro vents stop working while in sleep mode

Randomly my MacBook Pro will start heating up to extreme temperature and loose all of its battery instantly while in sleep mode (sometimes getting so bad I smell a burning smell). Though as soon as I open it up the fans start working again and it is able to cool down. Any suggestions?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 15.1
