Photo Libraries are grayed out after I rebuilt my pictures file.

I accidentally deleted my picture file and could not recover it from my Time Machine so I rebuilt the file by downloading from iCloud. Now I can't sync up with other devices and library choices are grayed out. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Could you be looking at the wrong Library? You can see what Libraries are available by closing Photos and then option-clicking on the Photos icon. That brings up the Library Chooser dialog:

With this you can see any Libraries that Photos knows about, the path to each, and which one is the System Library. The System Library is the one that can connect to iCloud.

The Libraries are most likely in your Pictures folder. If there's more than one, you may be able to tell by the size which one has pictures in it.

It's possible that somehow the one with pictures isn't the System Library, so let us know how it goes…
