Stand by mode does not work on Iphone 16 plus

is clear that Iphone 16 plus does not support always on. But stand by move is a different story and this was not advertised as not available for this phones. Why is installed then in the first place? Not value added space. Allow users to get rid off and save storage for real value. That would be a fair practice. Not as it is now.
