Your iPhone 7 does not receive the latest iOS version. In fact, the last iOS version it had was many years ago, and that was iOS 15.8.3. If you want anything further, you'll have to purchase a newer iPhone.

By today, older models did see a minor update;

with iOS 15.8.4 now available in security patch,

from Apple. Newer iOS levels have updates too.

And 'most recent three' macOS as well.

.iUpdated first-edition iOS SE iPhone & does OK.

Considering AASP for new battery; got three

years, out of its present replacement battery.

[I've 2 newer iPhones need same services done.]

And find newer iPhones require different power

adapters, than Lightning. Looks to be USB-C +

Higher-output levels as well. 12w likely too weak!
