Adding +1 to a contact when I text Part 2

Anyway, I had the same thing happen that the original person who posted the question back in 2022 had occur. I fought with my iphone and read the first post and its answers that were no help. Then I restarted my phone. All seems well now. Seems to be a glitch that needs a restart to fix. I did not have a 1 in front of any of my contact's numbers. My phone just decided to insert them, and then they were rejected as messages. After a restart, it isn't doing it anymore. I don't know if this will solve the problem for others, but it worked for me. Best wishes.
