Overshoot on Push transition in Final Cut

I've used the push transition for around ten years now and all of a sudden, maybe from an update, the push transition will have an overshoot behavior; but only in the right/left setting, up and down has no overshoot.

The Project is vertical - 1284x2778/ 29,9

I've tried on two systems with the same result; the iMac Pro was recently cloned/ Migrated to MacBook Pro M4 Max.

Thank you for any help.

Push does not use Overshoot, it uses Snapshots to "fit" to certain aspect ratios, 1284x2778 is NOT one of them!

The snapshots used are for (default) 16:9, 4:3, 1.8:1 and "Custom - (2.000)" ... whatever that means.

I get the "overshoot effect" in 9:16 video in both horizontal directions.

1284x2778 is fairly narrow - are you sure you have the dimensions right? Is the "overshoot look" something you want? or want removed?
