Missing/not receiving texts from one contact in group chat.

I'm in a group chat with five total members; myself plus four co-workers. There were no issues previously, and all five members could see/read/respond to messages from everyone else. However, recently (few weeks?), I stopped receiving any messages from one of the members (my manager). That same member I do not receive messages from in the group chat is able to message me directly (just their messages in our group chat don't work)

We're both using iPhones: I had an iPhone 14 Pro Max (and upgraded to an iPhone 16 Pro Max today, hoping that would fix the issue -- it hasn't); I'm not sure which iPhone model my manager is using.

I have deleted my manager as a contact and manually added her back, and the issue persists.

Before the new phone upgrade this morning, I tried reseting the network settings to no avail.

Any thoughts?
