How Do I Buy This Particular Album? "Partial Album" and "Album Only" At Odds With One Another

Hi, I'm trying to buy this album: Symphonic Memories Concert - music from SQUARE ENIX from the Music app (version 1.5.2.56) on my Macbook (macOS Sequoia version 15.3.2). However, I can't buy the entire album at once because it's listed as a "partial album", and I can't buy three of the songs because they're listed as "album only", so how do I buy all of the songs on this album? In the past, if an album was listed as a "partial album" I would just buy all of the songs individually, but in this case, I can't buy three of the songs because they're listed as "album only". Maybe the Music app has a software bug? Or maybe the content owner made a mistake when creating this album's listing? Are there any workarounds or alternative ways for purchasing this content?

I am suspecting those tracks are not really available for sale as downloads, which I agree is an improper use of "Album Only."


In the iTunes Store they are listed as "Album Only" with no actual way to buy them. In Music (the link you provided) those tracks have blank duration. Spotify is missing the whole album. Amazon does not sell any of the tracks as downloads but has the full album as a CD.

Looking here in the UK I can see 9 tracks and a purchase price for the whole album. I would assume that contractual reasons mean that the first track cannot be sold in your region. Not sure why you're not getting offered a slightly reduced price for the partial album, or are you only ever allowed to purchase individual tracks from these? Also odd is that track times are not shown for the Album Only tracks. If I look up an album I know to have some longer tracks, e.g. Yes - Going For The One, then the times are displayed for the Album Only tracks. Something seems broken about this listing.
