Audio joiner -How to merge audio files mac?

Hello everyone, I'm dealing with some audio files recently and want to merge several different audio files into one file, but I don't know what tool is more suitable. What is the best way to merge audio files on Mac? Is there any simple and easy-to-use tool or software that can allow me to easily merge audio files on Mac without losing sound quality? I hope that friends with experience can give some advice, thank you!

You can do this in Quicktime:

  • Open Quicktime
  • Open the first audio file
  • Do View > Show clips
  • Do Edit > Add clip to end
    • Navigate to & select the second audio file
  • Do Edit > Insert clip after selection (to add the third audio file)
    • Navigate to & select the next audio file
    • Continue doing this step as needed until all audio clips have been added
  • Do File > Export As > Audio Only

Another way is to use any audio editing app of your choice. Audacity is free and very popular. I use Sound Studio.

You can actually append multiple sound clips via QuickTime Player and the instructions provided by MartinR

When selecting the file to append, you can Click on the first, then Holding the Shift key, select a range of files. HOWEVER, the files must be sorted in the order you want them to be appended.

I was joining 62 short audio clips into a single file, and I did it in batches of 10, using the above method. I did have to make sure the files were displayed in the order I wanted them to be appended, which in some cases meant I had to rename a file files so they alphabetically sorted in the correct order.
