How can I fix messages not delivering issue on Apple Watch?

When I message someone, the messages say delivered and the person responds. Then 5 minutes go by, and they say not delivered even though I'm already having a whole conversation.

Apple watch Just a couple weeks ago I started having problems with my Apple Watch not sending messages. Are those messages sent via iMessage, SMS, or another 3rd party messenger app?
