"Confirm Mac Password" repeatedly

I changed the password on my Mac once or twice, and ever since then, my Mac has been telling me to confirm the password so I can keep using iCloud. I have been putting the correct password in every single time, and it's accepting it, but then it just pops back up again, along with the syncing notification, like I have not been doing either for a while. I've looked up many things and tried different things, but nothing has worked. This is my first time having a Mac, and I'm still adjusting to it. Is this just me, or are other people having this problem? It's getting annoying at this point, tbh.

I would try signing out of your AppleID/Account and back in again
